The RackSolutions 5U 2Post Cantilever Shelf for Apple is designed to store and organize your Mac Studios devices in place. Constructed from 16 GA steel, it can be mounted in most standard 19 inch EIA standard relay racks, telco racks, and 4 post racks. This shelf features slots for up to 4 Mac Studios. To secure each device properly, align it with one of the slots and insert it until it's fully seated and flush with the shelf surface. 

Plus, its ventilated, fixed design maintains efficient airflow and heat dissipation. With the cable lances and obrounds, these built-in slots allow you to neatly route your cables along specific paths, preventing tangling and clutter. This makes your overall setup much cleaner and easier to maintain.

The shelf has a total depth of 14.09" (357.8 mm), with 3.08" (78.3 mm) of usable rear space. This extra space is ideal for external SSDs or other additional accessories that enhance the deployment of your Mac Studios. External SSDs offer extra storage for project files and makes it easier for customers to transfer and carry over data or files as needed. The built-in cable lances allow these accessories to be securely strapped in place, keeping everything organized. It's an efficient solution for deployments where portability and additional storage are needed.

Built-in Airflow Management

The 5U 2Post Cantilever Shelf is expertly designed with a ventilated surface that enhances cooling and thermal performance. With no interference to the cold air intake and exhaust ports, it ensures optimal airflow by drawing cool air in from the front and efficiently expelling hot air out the back. Even during intense tasks, your Mac Studios will stay cool and perform at its best.

Power Button Activation

Each shelf slot includes an integrated button pusher for convenient power access. To turn on your Mac Studio, pull and hold the tab for that slot until the device's power indicator light turns on or you hear the startup sound. To power the device down, repeat the process until the light turns off or the shutdown sound is heard, no need to remove the device.

Built-in Cable Organization

The cantilever shelf includes integrated tie points to designate the cable pathways for cable organization. This allows for easy cabling routing and helps prevent tangles. Proper cable organization also keeps airflow pathways clear, reducing heat buildup and allowing cooling systems to work more efficiently.
