Overview
The PanView iQ™ Expansion Module includes mounting bracket, 7 inch expansion port cable and an interface unit. The expansion module attaches directly to the back of a PViQ™ Patch Panel to enable physical infrastructure management. The expansion module extends the intelligence capabilities of a PViQ Panel Manager to additional panels.
- Patch panel management: Provides manageability for each PViQ ™ Patch Panel, offering full physical infrastructure management for network reliability, security, and lower total cost of ownership
- Zero rack space: Eliminates need for additional rack space by attaching directly onto PViQ ™ Patch Panels simplifying system design and lowering costs
- Smart upgrades: Enables quick addition, removal, or replacement of modules to add management capabilities, simplifying field installations, upgrades, and maintenance while minimizing downtime
- Interface unit: Snaps into the front of the PViQ ™ Patch Panel to enable patch cord tracing and diagnostic navigation using multi-function push buttons and LED's, improving speed and accuracy of maintenance and troubleshooting
- Scalable port growth: Enables the expansion of panel management by allowing up to three EM-managed PViQ ™ Patch Panels to be connected to one PM-managed patch panel, offering scalability in a cost-effective manner
